Coach Mikaela

I began my fitness journey in 2015 when I lost over 80 pounds over the course of a few years. It was all trial and error, but I couldn't believe how good I felt! After losing the weight, I was introduced to resistance training and functional training. I learned how to get strong and eat to fuel, holistically. Not only did I have more energy than ever, but the more I kept my body moving, the less anxiety and depression I had. My journey wasn't linear. I've had crazy amounts of ups and downs, but along the way I've learned so much about myself, how to be disciplined, and how to get after what I want no matter what life throws in my way.
I started running in 2020 and have progressed from 2 mile road races to being a marathon runner!
I became a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM in 2021. I am also a Certified Nutrition Coach and Corrective Exercise Specialist through NASM.
I believe we all have the potential to become the best version of ourselves, do great things, and to leave a positive impact on this world.
